CreaTV San Jose members have access to classes that teach the basics of video production. Classes cover pre-production (i.e. development, scripting, legal responsibilities), production (i.e. operation of TV studio and field production equipment—lighting, sound, graphics) and post-production (i.e. editing, narration, music, superimposed titles). The Orientation class must be taken before any other member only classes.
This class uses the CreaTV San Jose Policies and Procedures manual to give you the basics about the public access channels. It will explore what you'd like to do, help you get started, and answer all your questions on how you can make the best use of CreaTV San Jose.
